Gopeng hits the spotlight

Sungai Kampar in Gopeng is famous for whitewater rafting.

GOPENG, already popular for its eco-tourism, heritage sites and lai fun noodles, is about to become more famous.

Thanks to the efforts of MCA Gopeng and the Prime Minister’s Department, a partnership formed with Hunan TV Golden Eagle Media Co Ltd from Hunan Province in China, will seek to find ways to boost Gopeng’s tourism sector.
