Plant-based beauty product gains ground in Sabah

KOTA KINABALU: Two Sabahan cousins have come up with a local plant-based beauty product and it is fast becoming a hit not only among Sabahans, but also peninsular Malaysians.

Deiseree Daniel Jambun, 30, and Marion St Joan Galid, 24, from Kota Kinabalu who started their own line of facial and body scrub using young tuhau (wild ginger) shoot extracts in June last year, said they were overwhelmed by the response and feedback from their customers.
