Forum to address issues faced by Hindu temples

THE first forum on empowering Hindu temples is setting its sights on bringing a memorandum to the Prime Minister to set up a dedicated unit to address the challenges faced by temples.

This unit will be tasked with vetting and releasing government grants to deserving temples and will implement various empower­ment and training initiatives at the temples and for temple officials.
