Donation drive for young widow nets RM74,500

THANKS to the generosity of The Star readers, single mother Tan Pei Yee, who was widowed at the age of 21, is now fuelled with confidence to face the odds ahead.

She was left in a lurch with two daughters, aged two years and two months, respectively, after losing her husband to a freak accident in April last year.
