Johor MB: Dr M’s figures don’t add up

Khaled Nordin says that the total foreign ownership worked out to just 2.01 of the 1.45 million properties in Johor.

JOHOR BARU: Less than 30,000 properties in the state were approved for purchase by foreigners from 2003, according to the state government.

Mentri Besar Datuk Mohamed Khaled Nordin said the number of foreign applications approved by the State Lands and Mines Department up to Nov 30 was 29,218 units, which involved landed property and strata ownership.
