Learning more about Parkinson’s

The group of 23 Malaysians, including Perak Parkinson’s Association committee members and Parkinson’s patients, at the World Parkinson Congress in Portland, Oregon.

IMPRESSED with the knowledge gained from the World Parkinson Congress in late September, the Perak Parkinson’s Association is aiming to hold a similar conference on a smaller scale in the state to enhance understanding of the disease.

With the new discoveries and disease-management techniques presented at the congress in Portland, Oregon, in the United States, Perak Parkinson’s Association President Samuel Ng said holding a conference in Perak would be a good way to convey knowledge to Malaysians.
