JOHOR BARU: Aspiring teachers should brush up on their general knowledge in order to be 21st century educators.

Malaysian Teacher Training Institution (IPGM) rector Dr Azian T.S Abdullah said several Teaching of English as a Second Language (TESL) applicants could not answer general knowledge questions during interviews.
