From passion to Nobel Prize

FOLLOWING his dreams and passion was Dr Shuji Nakamura’s key to winning the Nobel Prize in physics in 2014.

Dr Nakamura, 62, won the prize with two others for the invention of efficient blue light-emitting diodes, which has enabled bright and energy-saving white light sources.
