Company launches programme to train technicians

A MULTINATIONAL company in Penang has started a skills development programme for Malaysians in its bid to have a 100% local workforce.

Hewlett-Packard Manufacturing Malaysia Sdn Bhd (HPMM) will fully sponsor students for the programme which is a collaboration between HPMM Manpower Japan-Malaysia Technical Institute (JMTi) and the Northern Corridor Implementation Authority.
