Rep reinterates call to help the homeless

A BACKBENCHER has called on the state government to carry out the ‘Empowering the Street Citizens’ programme soon to help the vagabonds in the state.

Teh Lai Heng (DAP-Komtar) said he brought up the issues of the homeless and elderly twice in the previous assembly sittings but nothing had been done by the state government so far.
