KUANTAN: The Pahang Mining Operators Association (PPMNP) has submitted standard operating procedure proposals on bauxite mining to the Mentri Besar and Kuantan Port but have yet to receive a response.

Its vice-president Yap Soon Huat said miners had set up proper facilities in the Kemaman port to prevent pollution and had also submitted a proposal to do the same at the Kuantan Port.
