Centre to better regulate bauxite mining

KUANTAN: A mineral extraction services centre has been set up in Gebeng to mitigate environmental problems arising from bauxite mining.

Tengku Mahkota Pahang Tengku Abdullah, who launched the centre, said the move was a proactive measure which should be emulated in other mining areas in the district, such as Bukit Goh.
