84-year-old mosque to be relocated

Masjid Zakaria, which is one of the oldest mosques in Selangor, will be relocated nearby to Batu 8 ½ Jalan Gombak.

The mosque, which was built in 1931, was unable to accommodate the large number of Muslims attending Friday prayers, with some resorting to praying outside the mosque beside the main road.
