SELANGOR Mentri Besar Azmin Ali denied news report the Damansara-Shah Alam Highway (DASH) project has been given a go-ahead for work to start.
He said there are still parts of the alignment that have not secured the green light from residents.
The state, he said, has requested the Works Ministry, Malaysia Highway Authority and the developer to review some of the segments on the proposed highway.
"We have asked them to engage with the residents to find other alternatives before the state and Federal government make the final decision.”
He said although in principle the highway is necessary, there are locations that need to be reviewed and the state is open to suggestions and feedback from the people.
