South Koreans extend help

South Korea’s Guro District, a sister city to Kuching, has extended its orang utan sponsorship programme by another year.

Since 2012, the district – known as the South Korean Silicon Valley – with one of the country’s largest digital industrial complexes, has been contributing to the Semenggoh Wildlife Centre, an orang utan rehabilitation scheme.
