KOTA KINABALU: Malaysian security forces are continuing their clampdown against the smuggling of fuel and other subsidised goods from Sabah into southern Philippines with the detention a fast craft.

The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency intercepted the vessel laden with three jerry cans filled with petrol, a cooking gas tank and various sundry goods in waters off the east coast Sandakan district.
