KTM train breaks down during rush hour

A southbound train of the Electric Train Services (ETS) arriving at the Kuala Lumpur KTM station yesterday.

TECHNICAL problems with the electric supply cable along the Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM) route between the Mid Valley and Seputeh stations caused delay in the Komuter service on Monday night, causing inconvenience to commuters who were mostly on their way home after work.

The incident took place about 7pm and brought one train to a complete halt as well as the shutdown of the onboard functions including the air-conditioning service.
