Some 87,000 households in Puchong, USJ, Bandar Baru Bangi, Kajang and Semenyih were left high and dry without water supply following a pipe burst.
The unscheduled distruption occurred after the pipe channelling water from the Sungai Semenyih water treatment plant to the Bandar Puteri Puchong and Sime-UEP water retention ponds burst.
