SUNSURIA Berhad’s Chinese New Year open house saw visitors flocking to see some of the property developer’s latest offerings.
The event held at Sunsuria Avenue in Kota Damansara, kicked off with an energetic acrobatic lion dance troupe accompanied by a 24-drums performance, while current and prospective customers, partners and business associates enjoyed live performances and a hearty buffet spread.
In his speech, Sunsuria sales and marketing director Simon Kwan said the company’s freehold development of condominiums, Suria Residence in Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam, had already sold more than 60% units.
Among its other projects is Suria Hills, comprising 68 freehold bungalow lots with majestic views over Bukit Cherakah forest reserve in Shah Alam.
“We also have some new projects to be launched soon, such as The Forum, which is an innovative, integrated development in the heart of Setia Alam in Shah Alam,” he said.
Kwan added that Suria Serenia, a 202ha freehold township development located in Salak Tinggi, Putrajaya South, was scheduled to be launched this year.
“This is a very unique development as it will complement the upcoming first Xiamen University Malaysia campus,” he said, adding that Xiamen University was one of the most recognised institutions of higher learning in China and was expected to place up to 10,500 students once fully operational.
“It’s all about lifestyle — we want to be different,” he said, adding that buyers’ feedback emphasised on security and lifestyle features in their projects.
This can be seen in their Suria Residence project, which has a variety of features including a swimming pool, wet and dry sun deck and a six-tier security feature including panic buttons and closed-circuit television (CCTV) surveillance system.
“Interestingly, a lot has been said that 2015 marks a challenging time for the property sector but I am confident that Sunsuria will be able to move to better heights by capturing the essence of the “goat” — by being creative with our products, dependable in our delivery, calm and nurturing in our relationships with our customers and partners,” said Kwan.
During the event, staff and guests did a customary lou sang while the event also saw feng shui and Chinese astrology consultant Datuk Joey Yap, providing guests with a general outlook for the year while recording artiste and former beauty queen Soo Wincci made an appearance.
