THE PENANG Regional Development Authority (Perda) has collected five tonnes of essential items including foodstuff for flood victims in the east coast states.
Its general manager Saringat Hassan said his employees, touched by the suffering of the flood victims, teamed up to form Perda Prihatin, with the cooperation of the Civil Defence Emergency Respond Team and the Perda Sports and Welfare Club.
