After a four-year closure, the Kuala Lumpur Velodrome in Cheras has been reopened for the Kuala Lumpur cycling team to train ahead of the 2022 Malaysia Games (Sukma).

Kuala Lumpur Cycling Association (PBKL) president Ahmad Arif Astaman said permission to reopen the 34-year-old venue was granted following discussions with developer Dupion Development Sdn Bhd, owner of the land.
