Making meaning

When we make meaning, rather than money, that’s when it means the most. And that should be the message we carry into our journey through this year.

THIS week we welcomed the Water Dragon with considerable fanfare, with a passion that would put even the most fervent lion dance drummer to shame. Groaning tables of food, glowing red lanterns and sparkling night skies lit up by fireworks. Friends, family and colleagues – sometimes even strangers – gathered readily to usher in a prosperous, auspicious Chinese New Year with the festival’s many heartening rituals.
