Cynical me

I’M AWARE that I often come across as being cynical and sarcastic, twin traits that do little to endear me to people I meet for the first time – or, indeed, the second or third or fourth time.

In the past, my sarcasm has been taken literally, resulting in disapproving stares from people who, I’m sure, would like nothing more than to silence me forever.
