The Big Pink Walk 2026 will be held in Johor this Oct 10. — Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast

Ready, pink, walk! That’s right, it’s time to deck yourself in October’s representative colour and join The Big Pink Walk 2026.

This year’s edition will return to Desaru Coast, Johor on Oct 10.

Flagging off at 7am from The Els Club Desaru Coast, the 5km walk will end at Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast.

Don’t worry if you can’t make it to the venue, you can still take part by registering as a virtual participant.

This option allows participants who are unable to attend in person to complete their own walk wherever they are, be it in Malaysia or abroad. The virtual 5km walk can be completed anytime from Oct 1 to 31.

If you are joining in person, stick around after crossing the finish line as there are more activities planned from 8am onward. On the day, there will be a survivor tribute and sharing session, community experiences and breast health awareness activities.

"This year, we hope to see even greater participation under the theme 'Stronger Together', while encouraging more people to support breast cancer patients and survivors," Murray Aitken, general manager of Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast, said in a press statement.

The annual charity walk is part of the broader Pinktober 2026 campaign by Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast, which aims to raise RM100,000 for Breast Cancer Support Group (BCSG) Johor Bahru.

The campaign’s fundraising activities kicked off with a golf tournament held on Sept 25-27. After the walk, there will be a charity pickleball clinic on Oct 17-18 October.

An online silent auction featuring hotel experiences, merchandise and other contributed items will also be part of the campaign.
