Roots and Shoots Malaysia, in collaboration with Perlis Nature and Wildlife Association, is working to produce a book on Wang Kelian.

It will contain photographs by Peter Ong and illustrations by Jennifer Linggi.

An exhibition and screening of a short documentary by Myles Storey and Amir Isqandar on the landscape, biodiversity and cultural heritage of the area and its surroundings will also be held.

This project on Wang Kelian and the Perlis State Park, which Think City and The Habitat Foundation support, is also an extension of Eko-Eko, a Roots and Shoots project, to increase awareness of this region’s unique wildlife and terrain.

The book will focus on educational resources, making it ideal for learning about the incredible biodiversity found in Perlis.
