The recent 2024 Fashion Awards saw celebrities descending into London to recognise some of the industry's biggest names.
Actors, models, designers, athletes and more dressed in their very best outfits for the red carpet – rightly so, as it was an occasion for one to be noticed.
From cool technical wear to chic dresses and avant-garde creations, the best-dressed stars showed that fashion is indeed beautifully versatile.
Jonathan Anderson (of the JW Anderson and Loewe labels) snagged the award for "Designer Of The Year", while Tom Ford was honoured with an award for "Outstanding Achievement".
"I have lived in London longer than any other city. I moved to the Gucci design studio in the 90s and when I started my own label I chose to do it here," Ford said in his speech.
"There is so much life here, so much creativity, and so much of it is present here tonight. It is for me the most inspirational city in the world and I am so happy and so lucky to call it home."
Anderson pointed out how the job is not always the easiest, but it remains his big love.
"It’s something that gets me out of bed every morning,” he said.

“To everyone who is wanting to be a fashion designer, the great thing about fashion is that we all go out of fashion. So there are loads of jobs to be taken downstairs, so come and get them.”
Other winners night included Grace Wales Bonner, Simone Rocha, Priya Ahluwalia, Marco Capaldo and Stephen Jones, each for various awards categories celebrating designers.
It was also the time to make strong statements.
Photographer Nan Goldin (accepting an award for "Special Recognition") ended her speech with the words "free Palestine", as did Rocha. Both winners received passionate applause.
The Fashion Awards is organised by the British Fashion Council. It celebrates the role of fashion at the intersection of culture and entertainment, as well as spotlighting creative talent.
