Glitzy evening of celebration

OMEGA has opened its newest boutique – at The Exchange TRX Kuala Lumpur, the brand’s first in Malaysia to feature an exclusive lounge for a private shopping experience.

Personalities and style icons, including Malaysia’s very own “Friend of Omega” Marion Caunter and her Thai counterpart Jirayu Tangsrisuk, celebrated the grand opening with a glamour that befits the brand’s storied heritage.

“This new boutique truly showcases the legacy and elegance of Omega,” says Martin Issing, vice-president of Omega Malaysia.

“I am thrilled to officially open the boutique and look forward to welcoming guests from Malaysia and all over the world.”

The boutique’s gold-framed façade leads to a space accentuated with soft lighting and golden highlights.

At the heart of the boutique, guests explore the latest of Omega’s offerings under the warm glow of a grand chandelier.

The natural tones of wooden furniture lend a touch of comfort, and when paired with polished and reflective accents, create an air of modernity and opulence.

An equally welcoming space, the private lounge hidden from view behind a sliding door is where guests receive personalised consultation.

Caunter, who became part of the Omega family in February, sports an Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra in 18k Sedna gold with an eye-catching red strap, while Jirayu, who arrives in a suit that cuts a dashing silhouette, wears an Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional.

Flashing broad grins, they wave to fans jostling each other to get closer to them.

“An evening to remember,” Caunter posts on Instagram, “Congrats Omega on your grand opening at The Exchange TRX, and welcome to Malaysia @jirayu_jj.”
