These children of celebs could give us a tip or two about dressing in style

Their parents are recognisable figures in the domains of music, fashion and entertainment – abroad and here in Malaysia.

Some take after their parents in the fashion department, while others have adopted their own unique personal style.

Whether it's a genetically inherited trait or a result of growing up in the limelight, these kids are trendsetters in their own right.

North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm West

Reality star Kim Kardashian and rapper and designer Kanye West's brood are often photographed sporting chic streetwear, with nine-year-old North leading the pack with her sharp sense of style.

Since her toddler years, North has been a front-rower at many a fashion show, decked out in designer outfits.

These days she styles herself and even styled the entire family for a Vogue shoot, after expressing her disapproval for the all-black outfits, and instead hand-picked casual, colourful clothing for herself, her siblings and her parents.

Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr

The daughter of tennis legend Serena Williams and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian is only five years old and is already making a name as a style icon.

Often twinning with her famous mum, on the court and off, Alexis has been photographed in brands like Balmain and Burberry, recently sporting a black Nike dress bedazzled with mini diamantes on top – a kid version of Serena's outfit.

Luna Simone and Miles Theodore

The children of singer-songwriter John Legend and model Chrissy Teigen feature often on their mother's social media platforms, dressed in chic getups in various styles.

Luna, 7, and Miles, 4, look adorable in every photo, whether its casual clothing for a playdate or matching styles for parties, and they may soon be joined by their newborn sibling, Esti, who was born in January 2023.

Lara Alana and Lyla Amina

Closer to home, the daughters of celebrity couple Scha Alyahya and Awal Ashaari are emerging fashionistas both on their parents' socials, as well as their own (Lara's account has over four million followers!)

Since infancy, both sisters have grown up in the public eye, starring in ads and being hired as brand ambassadors, and looking super cute in both designer wear and homegrown labels.

Nur Fatima Aisya

Power couple Fattah Amin and Nur Fazura's daughter, Nur Fatima Aisya, is only two years old but is already making waves on social media with her chic style.

Whether she's toddling through the streets of London in cute winter wear or keeping her famous mum company at the latter's boutiques in flowery sundresses, posts of the pint-sized style maven rack up tens of thousands of likes, and she might soon give her celebrity parents a run for their money in the popularity department.
