To give yourself a beauty glow up, look to products that can help enhance and beautify your skin and lips.

After all, the skin is probably the most noticed aspect of a person's face. The lips, on the other hand, are the easiest to "decorate" – with various brands carrying what your need to pamper or colour them.

Here's a look at the latest offerings.

Clean uncomplicated skincare

Rihanna, in partnership with Kendo Brands, a LVMH-owned beauty developer, introduces her second global beauty brand, Fenty Skin.

The Fenty Skin Start’rs range is based on the singer and businesswoman’s real-life skincare routine, and it includes three products, the first being a makeup remover-cleanser with a creamy lather to remove dirt, oil and longwear makeup called Total Cleans’r Remove-It-All Cleanser.

Next is the Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum, a toner-serum hybrid that targets pores, improves the look of dark spots, brightens, smooths, and fights shine, without stripping the skin.

Finally, the Hydra Vizor Invisible Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen is lightweight, oil-free, and truly invisible on all skin tones with its subtle pink hue. It claps back at dehydration, discolouration, and dark spots, and is makeup-friendly - no pilling or flashback.

Each of these products features clean, vegan, gluten-free and oil-free formulas, combining globally sourced ingredients, such as vitamin C-rich Barbados cherry, with gold standard skincare ingredients, such as hyaluronic acid and niacinamide.

A taste of colour

Hermes Beauty recently debuted Hermesistible, a sensory collection of six lip oils infused with colour and fragrance.

The composition of each fragrance is marked by a high concentration of precious sandalwood (up to 8%), a true “liquid gold” that counterbalances the fruity notes.

Like the sun’s rays on hot sand, Beige Sapotille is a soft, sweet beige illuminated with a hint of orange, echoing the rich, caramelised flesh of the tropical sapodilla fruit.

Corail Bigarade is described as coral drenched in bright sunlight, like the pulp of bitter orange, while Rose Pitaya evokes the succulent flesh of dragon fruit in the light of dawn, a harmonious and soft velvety pink.

Rouge Amarelle combines little bursts of deliciousness, inspired by the sharp, sour ones from a basket of cherries in a poppy field.

The Rose Kola lip oil is made up of sparkling and invigorating accords of lime, ginger and cinnamon with notes of matcha tea, and Pourpre Camarine is a vibrant and fruity deep purple shade borrowed from the crowberry.

Anything but ordinary

Fans of The Ordinary will now be able to shop their products in a retail location, in Sephora Malaysia.

Explore some of The Ordinary skincare favourites such as; Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%, Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA and Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5.

The popular Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 is an oil-free treatment that penetrates the skin to deliver long-lasting moisture that smoothens, plumps and strengthens the skin. Vitamin B5 enhances the efficacy of HA.

Another popular item, The Bright Set, will be exclusively stocked by Sephora Malaysia.

The set includes Squalane Cleanser to gently cleanse the skin, Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG to target the look of dark circles in the eye contour, Ethylated Ascorbic Acid 15% Solution for radiant and healthy looking skin tone, and Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution for a mild exfoliation.

Powerful protection

If you don’t use any other skincare, the least you can do is slap on some sunscreen and be done with it, at least, that’s what the experts say. Supergoop! Every.Single.Face. SPR-Shield Watery Lotion SPF 50 is a new daily SPF that’s undetectable with a refreshing, cooling feel.

Made for all skin types, tones and routines, the simple, easy-to-wear SPF leaves no white cast and delivers a refreshing, cooling application with a natural, non-greasy finish.

Add it to your existing skincare routine, or use it alone to help protect against a full spectrum of skin aggressors including UV rays, blue light, pollution and infrared radiation.

It contains a unique amino acid complex which helps lock in moisture to maintain skin hydration, and protect against IRA and filter blue light and pollution niacinamide (Vitamin B3), which claims to minimise the appearance of pores, even skin tone and reduce the visible effects of free radicals.

All-over nourishing butter

Drunk Elephant’s new Wonderwild Miracle Butter captures the rich, soft, and creamy wonders of butter in an intensely nourishing salve that rescues and soothes dry, chapped, irritated, or compromised skin.

Packed with restorative plant butters such as marula, cupuacu, mango, and shea, the salve shields skin from environmental stressors, while antioxidant- and fatty-acid-rich plant oils (such as meadowfoam, pumpkin, green tea seed, kukui, and rose hip) replenish vital lipids to deeply nourish and strengthen a temporarily compromised skin barrier, supporting skin’s natural healing abilities and bringing skin back to its healthiest state.

This new butter is designed to be applied selectively to areas where repair and protection is needed. It can be used anywhere you have skin, including the scalp, eye area, and lips – as often as you need!

Whether its for sunburns, flaky lips, rough elbows, cracked heels, cuts, blisters, irritation on the skin and scalp, or post-waxing, post-shaving or post-tweezing tenderness, this balm is suitable for all.
