Chinese designer, Angel Chen, whose experimental approach fuses Eastern and Western aesthetics, has snatched up another big fashion collaboration.

She is launching a capsule collection with the Canada Goose brand for the upcoming spring season.

Chen has previously collaborated with some of the biggest fashion houses and is currently one of China's most promising and most in-demand emerging talents.

The designer stands apart with her unique aesthetic, which blurs the borders between East and West, while also shaking up styles with her timeless, unisex collections – two strong trends for early 2021.

Angel Chen revisits some of Canada Goose's classics in a collaboration spanning modernity and tradition.

The collaboration features 13 ready-to-wear items for men and women, and echoes the colorful world of the Chinese designer, with bold red and two shades of pink.

Standout pieces include the "Snow Mantra Cropped" women's parka, which can be turned around and worn two ways to change your look in an instant.

The "Convertible Snow Mantra" hybrid men's parka can be worn in four different ways thanks to its removable bottom section, sleeves and hood. Alongside this, the designer plays with shape and proportions in a thoroughly modern way, reflecting her experimental approach.

There is also a vest, raincoat, logo sweater, down jacket, bomber jacket, hooded sweater and convertible bag. – AFP Relaxnews
