Hollywood super couple Angelina Jolie, 41, and Brad Pitt, 52, are getting a divorce. Actress Jolie had filed for a divorce petition on Sept 15; the news broke five days later when US entertainment website TMZ ran an article with details of the petition.
The non-stop media frenzy has left many to speculate on the reasons for their split, which is formally cited as "irreconcilable differences" in the file. TMZ also reported that there are possible issues of substance abuse and uncontrollable anger, with Jolie stating she is worried for their children over Pitt's behaviour.
