We were sitting outside, me on the bench and Target, the senior cat, enjoying his evening garden stroll, when suddenly Target bushed his fur and growled.
He's feisty at repelling feline intruders but this time he turned tail and streaked for the front door. Two seconds later, Polo bounced into view, out for a walk with her mum, Kim.
