Irregular hearts

Heartbeats that don’t beat in synchrony may spell trouble, especially if they’re regular occurrences. 

I HAVE been experiencing a ‘funny’ sensation of my own heartbeat for quite some time now. There have been some extra beats that I feel are not regular. There have also been some skipped beats. Is this normal?
