An ophthalmology surgeon stresses on regular checks for glaucoma as certain types of the disease may progress without symptoms until significant and irreversible vision loss has occurred. 

VISITING glaucoma specialist Dr Martin Wand, a speaker at this year’s annual meeting of the South East Asia Glaucoma Interest Group, revealed that angle-closure glaucoma (ACG) is a significant health concern for Asians.
