‘Jom Makan Besor’ (Johorean slang for let’s have a big feast) at Coffee House,Sunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur features the best of Johor’s culinary andcultural delights. Available from May 18 to June 3, the festival’s highlight willbe the Buffet Lunch and Dinner, priced at RM59++ and RM80++, respectively.Johor, known as “The Southern Gateway to Malaysia” is one of the mostdeveloped states in Malaysia. The state is known for eco-tourism, agrotourism,sports-tourism and also the state capital and hub for businesses,transportation and entertainment. Enjoy an array of Johorean favourites suchas Nasi Briyani Gam, Nasi Ambang served on a piece of banana leaf in nyiru(winnowing basket), Ayam Kuzi, Ayam Kerutup, Daging Bahmia, otak-OtakGelang Patah, Singgang Ikan Tongkol Masak Pedas and telur pindang. Let’s notforget laksa Johor. There’s also lontong with condiments, Mee Rebus Muar andMee Bandung. Johorean cultural performances like joget, zapin, a medley ofJohor folk songs and tarian Kuda Kepang will take place during dinner.
