Hong Kong actress Priscilla Wong has returned to acting after taking a break in March 2025 to welcome her baby boy, nicknamed Siu Haha.
She is currently shooting the second season of the Astro drama The Exiled, marking her first filming project in Malaysia.
At a lensing ceremony in Kuala Lumpur on Sept 29, Wong, 44, said she was grateful for the opportunity to film in Malaysia, a country she regularly visits.
“I have many good friends here, and my first overseas trip with my son was also in Malaysia,” said Wong, who is married to Hong Kong singer-actor Edwin Siu.
The Life After Death (2020) star, who visited Malaysia with her son last month, added that she feels very comfortable in the country, saying: “Malaysia gives me a strong sense of security and warmth.”
The Exiled 2 marks Wong’s first drama since the 2024 TVB series Darkside Of The Moon, which began production in December 2023.
Reflecting on her return to acting after nearly three years, Wong admitted that she initially felt somewhat insecure.
However, she gradually regained her confidence with the support of her co-stars, Hong Kong actor Lai Lok Yi and Malaysian actor Henley Hii.
For the record, The Exiled 2 will see Lai, Hii, Eric Lay, Alvin Wong and Steve Yap reprise their roles from the first series.
The first installment, which aired last year, was led by Lai and Hong Kong actress Ali Lee.
