Porn star LuLu LoveBottom is dead. He was 30.
Lifestyle publications including Out magazine said the adult film performer born Hunter Hardin appeared to have died by suicide after leaving a message for friends on Instagram on Sept 7.
“I love you all and I’m sorry I wasn’t able to make it to the end,” his note said. “Goodbye forever.”
He added that he’d “been hurt for the last time” by someone he cared about.
A Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson told People that dispatchers “responded for a death investigation” late Monday (Sept 7) morning in response to a call. They didn’t note anything suspicious.
In addition to his work on film, Hardin was a burlesque performer who once played football and rowed crew in high school. He told Out Sports in 2025 that his dad was in the military and he grew up “with a shaky family life” that included not having a mum.
“I’ve dealt with a lot of depression in my life, and sports was relief from that,” the 1.93m performer said. “The gym, practice, I’ll always be a fan because of that.”
His death comes weeks after 29-year-old adult performer Zachary Christian Jaghab, who performed under the name Christian Styles, died in Michigan. His cause of death hasn’t been released.
Another porn star Seth Peterson died in March, his partner Cyrus Stark posted on social media. He was 28.
Vice published a 2016 report that found more than a dozen adult film performers under the age of 55 died in 2013 from a range of causes including suicide, heart failure and drug use. – New York Daily News/Tribune News Service
