Malaysian actress Fathia Latiff, 38, regrets getting Botox, says it's best to age gracefully

Malaysian singer-actress Fathia Latiff has expressed regret over her decision to get Botox injections and fillers in a bid to quickly achieve her desired appearance.

In a recent video shared on Instagram, the 38-year-old revealed that the cosmetic procedures not only failed to deliver long-lasting results but also negatively affected her skin texture.

"I regret it… In the long run, it only damages your face. The wrinkles and eyebags will both start returning," she said, adding that she is still living with the effects of the cosmetic procedures.

According to local media reports, Lelaki Lingkungan Cinta actress also said she has noticed changes in her skin as she approaches 40, including sagging and a loss of firmness.

She advised others to think carefully before undergoing cosmetic treatments, encouraging people to embrace the ageing process naturally.

"I hope people think first before doing any (cosmetic) procedures. To me, ageing gracefully is the best option," she said.

Fathia previously told local media that she underwent several cosmetic procedures after feeling insecure about her appearance.

At the time, she revealed that she had received Botox treatments and lip fillers in an effort to enhance her features.

Many netizens have since left comments praising Fathia for her beauty, while others agreed that embracing a natural look and ageing gracefully is always the best approach.
