Hong Kong actress Helena Law Lan has opened up about health challenges that come with ageing.
Speaking at a press conference in Tsim Sha Tsui, the 91-year-old revealed that she has total hearing loss in her left ear and has noticed her memory becoming less reliable.
She also revealed that she has adjusted her diet over the years, opting for softer foods as her teeth have weakened and her digestive system has become more sensitive.
Despite these changes, Law remains positive and continues to embrace ageing with optimism.
The former TVB star even shared that she has been sleeping exceptionally well, joking that she can easily fall asleep anytime and anywhere.
Law also reassured fans that they need not worry about her, as she is well taken care of by her domestic helper.
She recalled a frightening incident in 2025 when she fell in her living room and was unable to get back up due to the intense pain.
Thankfully, her helper quickly responded and called an ambulance.
The Bullets Over Summer actress was subsequently hospitalised for eight days.
Although she has since recovered, Law acknowledged that healing takes longer at her age.
She now uses a walking stick whenever she goes out, adding that it gives her a greater sense of security while reminding her to be more careful with every step.
