Hong Kong singer-songwriter Sam Hui Koon-kit wrapped up his Genting Highlands show on April 4, delivering a performance that charmed thousands of fans.
Even before the show began, the 76-year-old was already making headlines after being spotted at the local airport the day before with his Filipino-American wife Rebecca Fleming, who's in the country to support him.
According to Sin Chew Daily, fans who encountered the couple – married since 1971 – quickly snapped photos and shared them on social media.
In the images, the pair appeared in high spirits, standing close together as they greeted and waved to onlookers.
Many also commented on Fleming’s radiant and healthy appearance.
In another update, Hui – also known as the "Father of Cantopop" – drew a large crowd of fans when he returned to his hotel after the Malaysian concert.
Despite fans pushing and jostling for a chance to interact with their idol, the singer remained composed, smiling as security escorted him to the elevator and blowing kisses to the crowd before the doors closed.
For the record, Hui and Fleming share two celebrity sons – singer-songwriter Ryan Hui and film director Scott Hui.
Both of them joined him onstage as guest performers for the Genting Highlands show.
