Iconic American girl group The Pussycat Dolls has reunited as a trio and released a new single, Club Song, marking the group’s first new music in more than six years.
The comeback features original members Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt. Former members Carmit Bachar, Jessica Sutta and Melody Thornton are not part of the reunion.
Released on Thursday, March 12, Club Song was written by Scherzinger alongside producers and songwriters Mike Sabath, Caroline Ailin and Solly.
The dance-pop track features vocals from the trio and serves as the group’s first release since its 2020 single React.
The reunion coincides with the 20th anniversary of the group’s debut album PCD, which helped launch the Dolls to international fame in the mid-2000s with hits such as Don’t Cha and Buttons.
Alongside the new single, the trio also announced the PCD Forever Tour, a 53-date global tour that will begin on June 5 in California and will conclude on Oct 13 in London. Rapper Lil’ Kim and singer Mýa are set to join select shows as special guests.
The reunion came after a comeback attempt in 2019 was disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic and a legal dispute between Scherzinger and group founder Robin Antin. The dispute was settled in late 2025, clearing the way for the group’s return.
Formed in the early 2000s, The Pussycat Dolls originally disbanded in 2009 after achieving global success with multiple chart-topping singles and albums. - Philippine Daily Inquirer/Asia News Network
