Malaysian actress and radio announcer Vivienne Oon is opening a new chapter in her life as she steps into motherhood.

The 36-year-old announced the birth of her first child, a baby girl, in an Instagram post on Wednesday (Nov 19).

"You're already my favourite girl in the world. Even though (the delivery) spanned from night to morning and back to night, it wasn't too painful. Thank you little baby for choosing to be part of our family," she wrote.

Oon reflected on the moment she delivered her daughter, calling it a surreal experience.

"The moment you slid out with the last push, the nurse immediately held you to my chest. How could such a big baby have been inside me for nearly 10 months?"

Oon recalled her baby girl's first expressions, noting that she was making funny faces.

"Hey! Don't be so judgy," she jokingly chastised.

The Blooms Of Happiness (2025) star thanked the medical staff for their professionalism and attentive care.

She concluded her post with a sweet message for her baby girl, writing: "Mei Mei, may you grow up healthy and happy! Wishing you a lifetime of safety and peace."

Oon gained fame in 2011 after placing fourth in the Miss Astro Chinese International Pageant.

She tied the knot with her non-celebrity husband in 2024 after eight years of dating.
