Aimee Chan, 44, stepped away from the acting world in 2014 to focus on raising her three children she shares with husband, popular TVB actor Moses Chan, 54.

Nonetheless, she remains active on social media and continues to make public appearances.

During a recent online fan Q&A session, Aimee surprised many with a revelation about one of her past dramas.

When asked which series left the deepest impression on her, she named the 2014 TVB drama Outbound Love, which in part was filmed across several well-known Malaysian tourist spots, particularly in Penang.

She explained that Outbound Love held special meaning because it was the last drama she filmed before becoming a mother.

At the time, she didn’t realise she was already pregnant – and even performed some stunt scenes, which she now recognises could have been dangerous.

“There was one scene where I had to fall, and I didn’t know I was pregnant then. Even now, whenever I rewatch that scene, I still feel a little scared,” she admitted.

Fans expressed concern after hearing her story but were relieved that both mother and baby were safe. Many also shared how much they loved Outbound Love and even hoped for a sequel.

For her performance in that series, Aimee received the TVB Star Award Malaysia for My Favourite On-Screen Couple, alongside Ruco Chan. She was also nominated for My Favourite TVB Actress in a Leading Role but did not win.

Moses and Aimee tied the knot in Paris in 2013 after a two-year courtship.
