Hong Kong actor Stephen Ho Kai-nam recently surprised fans in Malaysia after revealing that he had visited the country for the very first time in his 43-year career.

In a video uploaded on Chinese social media platform Xiaohongshu, Ho, who’s an avid runner, was seen jogging at the KLCC Park in Kuala Lumpur.

The 59-year-old also shared photos from his visit to Kwai Chai Hong in the city’s Chinatown, where he indulged in Nyonya cuisine.

“First time in Malaysia,” the actor wrote in the caption, though he didn’t reveal whether he was in town for work or leisure.

Fans quickly filled the comments section to welcome Ho to Malaysia, with many also expressing hopes of running into the TVB star during his visit.

“I can’t believe this is your first time in Malaysia. You’ll definitely love it here,” said one person.

Another also remarked: “You’re sweating a lot! It’s really hot here!”

“Which part of KL will you be dropping by next? I want to take a photo with you,” wrote a third.

Ho, who joined the entertainment industry in 1982, is known for his roles in the dramas Master Of Play (2012), Lord Of Shanghai (2015), A Fist Within Four Walls (2016) and more.

The actor has been married twice. His first marriage lasted from 1992 to 1997. He tied the knot for the second time in 2017.
