Passengers on a flight headed to Yogyakarta, Indonesia, recently received a surprise performance from iconic Malaysian songbird Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza.

A viral TikTok video showed the 46-year-old getting invited to the front of the cabin, where she serenaded travellers with snippets of her songs Menamakanmu Cinta and Bukan Cinta Biasa through the plane's intercom.

Adding to the excitement, Siti also invited four fans onboard to perform one of her hits for a chance to win a “mystery prize”.

The singer herself also shared the experience on social media, expressing joy at receiving the opportunity to entertain fans in the air.

“It’s not every day you get the chance to entertain fans on a plane. Alhamdulillah, an hour before arriving at our destination, I was able to test the skills of several passengers who performed my song,” she wrote on Instagram, alongside a video of the special moment.

Many fans have left comments saying they wished they had been on the same flight, while others lauded Siti for opting to fly economy despite her star status.

“How can you not love her? She really treats everyone so well,” said one netizen.

Another added: “She chose a regular seat. She’s so humble.”

“If only I went to Yogyakarta yesterday, I would’ve been on the same flight as the Siti Nurhaliza,” wrote one fan.
