Not Syed Saddiq, but somehow … even better?

A random Malaysian tourist dropped a TikTok of a man who looks exactly like the Muar MP busting out his best moves at Bana Hills, Vietnam.

The video blew up instantly, not because of the scenery, but because this so-called "budget Syed Saddiq" had more rhythm than the real deal.

In the short video, the doppelganger dances with full confidence, leaving netizens wheezing.

The comment sections blew up with Malaysians joking that Syed Saddiq had secretly gone international and of course, flooding it with “hidup Syed Saddiq” as if TikTok was hosting a mini campaign rally. Except this one came with body rolls, not speeches.

Singer Bella Astillah, whom the Internet jokingly calls his “girlfriend” also could not resist. She dropped a hilariously shocked comment and the original poster replied cheekily: “Now can dance with YB without being stiff.”

Throwback energy

The comeback hit differently because Malaysians still remember when Syed Saddiq danced stiffly with Bella during Pesta Kaamatan on TikTok. Back then, he looked more like a nervous prom date than a TikTok pro. That’s why fans are finding this viral twin extra funny, the “try hard” energy is still there, but this version of the YB actually has moves.

The Internet reacts

Comments were flooded with laughter, memes and jokes about the lookalike stealing Syed Saddiq’s spotlight. Many agreed: if this really was the real YB, he finally found his groove.
