Hong Kong actor Ruco Chan and his wife, former Miss Hong Kong Phoebe Sin, are set to celebrate their seventh wedding anniversary this October.

The couple, who tied the knot on Oct 13, 2018, share a six-year-old daughter, Quintas.

Despite the common belief in the so-called "seven-year itch"– where relationships are said to hit a rough patch around the seven-year mark – the 48-year-old isn't worried.

In fact, he and Sin, 35, seem to be going strong, often appearing together at public events and brand endorsements, including a jewellery showcase in April.

Speaking to the media at the event, Chan acknowledged the superstition with good humour, saying they dressed up especially for the occasion as their anniversary approaches.

As translated by Jaynestars.com, he said: “It’s not that kind of itch. I’ve spent the past seven years 'raising' Phoebe – keeping her healthy and happy.”

Meanwhile, Sin – who looked elegant in her black and white outfit adorned with diamond accessories – added with a laugh: “All the diamond accessories that I picked today are long, making me look slimmer.”
