Hong Kong actor Moses Chan may be TVB's highest-paid artiste, reportedly earning HK$30mil (RM16.2mil) annually, but he continues to impress fans with his humility.

The 54-year-old is currently winning praise online after a netizen spotted him queuing on his own outside a bustling restaurant in Sham Shui Po, Hong Kong.

In a photo shared on Xiaohongshu (Red Note), Chan is seen in a simple yet polished outfit – a beige short-sleeve shirt and matching shorts, paired with socks and sandals.

“He always knows how to dress well. He’s the best-dressed TVB male artiste,” the caption read.

Netizens were quick to applaud Chan for choosing to queue on his own like everyone else instead of using his celebrity status to make a reservation.

Others also pointed out that even in casual wear and a face mask, the actor still stood out among the crowd.

“He chose to queue instead of making a reservation,” said one fan.

Another commented: “Celebrities and ordinary people are just humans at the end of the day.”

“He really gets more attractive and trendy with age,” added a third.

Since joining the entertainment industry in 1994, Chan has amassed multiple accolades – including two Best Actor titles at the TVB Anniversary Awards for his roles in Heart Of Greed (200&) and Narcotics Heroes (2023).

He’s married to Hong Kong-based Canadian actress Aimee Chan, with whom he shares three children – Aiden, 11, Nathan, 10, and Camilla, nine.
