Nearly four years after confirming their romance in 2021, Hong Kong actress Jessica Kan Shuk Yi and her pilot boyfriend Derek Mackesy have officially tied the knot.

In an Instagram update on Sunday (May 25), Kan, 35, revealed that she and Mackesy, 39, got married earlier this month in Italy.

The wedding was attended by close friends and family members, with a separate ceremony held in Hong Kong on Sunday for others who couldn’t make it to the overseas event.

“All I can remember is that I enjoyed every moment of it,” the former TVB star wrote.

Her post featured five photos from their special day – including a shot of the couple walking hand-in-hand while being showered with flower petals and another showing the newlyweds embracing each other.

Many celebrity friends such as actresses Amber Tang and Kelly Gu have left comments congratulating Kan and Mackesy on their new chapter in life.

“So sweet. Congrats,” said Roxanne Tong, who’s married to fellow TVB star Kenneth Ma.

Actor Derek Wong added: “So sweet and beautiful!”

Kan confirmed her relationship with Mackesy, who’s also an actor, in June 2021.

The pair became close after working together on the variety show Super Five.
