Justin Bieber (pic) on Saturday addressed his admitted “anger issues” and journey for personal growth.

The singer, 31, shared an Instagram carousel beginning with a close-up selfie, followed by photo of himself as a child.

“I got anger issues too, but I wanna grow and not react so much smh,” the Grammy winner captioned the photos.

In a separate post a few hours later, Bieber shared a video of a jam session at his home.

“I think I hate myself sometimes when I feel myself start to become inauthentic,” he wrote. “Then I remember we’re all being made to think we’re not enough but I still hate when I change myself to please people.”

Bieber’s candid posts came just over a week after he revealed in an Instagram Story that he’s “always felt unworthy” and has long contended with feeling like a “fraud.” The message was among a string of posts over the last two months that have led fans to be concerned for his mental health.

Both he and wife Hailey, 28, have slammed the online chatter surrounding his wellbeing, including rumours that he’s using hard drugs. In statement to TMZ last month, a rep for the couple called the persistent rumours “exhausting and pitiful,” saying that “despite the obvious truth, people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive.”

In October, on the heels of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ arrest on charges of federal sex trafficking and racketeering, sources told Us Weekly that Bieber was “in a hard place mentally” and struggling to process the allegations against his former mentor. – New York Daily News/Tribune News Service
